Are you trying to display a higher degree of warmth or affection? I nearly dropped my phone when someone addressed me "Ling Ling" in a text message. Imagine if it is said right in my face? I will probably just faint right on the spot. I cringe when people call me LingLing. OMG. Hahaha..I can't stand it man. Maybe it's 'cos of him. Thomas, if you are reading this, do you remember who used to call me that some years ago eh? =P Heehee. Maybe that's why I get turned off and feel goose-pimply all round whenever people start calling me that. Hahaha..

ALing is okay though. Ling is alright too. Ling-ah is fine as well. I guess as long as it's anything but that, it will be good...definitely definitely definitely not LingLing! It's just way to cutesy and totally not my style man! It's too affectionate and too whiny..Wahahaha..

But hey, don't get me wrong. I have nothing against names like these. For example, I think MayMay is a very lovely name. =D At least it doesn't sound too whiny.
