Emotions, are so hard to control, aren't they? As much as I tried to compose myself, I teared, once again, at the airport. My mummy started tearing when I hugged her. I began to tear too, naturally. The shocking part was..my daddy actually teared!! The last time I learnt of him tearing was at her wake when my paternal grandmummy passed away. When we were in the cab on the way to the airport, my daddy rested his right arm on my shoulders and hugged me, planting a kiss on my head. So unlike him to reveal his emotions openly. :)

Probably it was due to the fact that his elder daughter held her customary marriage dinner the night before; and he having to see his younger daughter off to the airport the very next morning. Having to handle 2 "losses" in such a short period of time..could be rather upsetting! :(

Returning to China for work..How am I feeling right now? Hmm, impressed with myself for not freaking out during the whole journey back alone...Hee..I travelled alone from Singapore to China! My 1st time flying alone! My colleagues asked me whether I was scared..I guess it was more of feeling lonely! No one to talk to! I had this French guy sitting next to me during my 6-hour flight but 'cos he wasn't really that cute so I didn't respond much when he talked to me..Had sucky meals on the plane too which dampened my appetite..I am beginning to miss my wanton mee! Travelling alone is alright, but the sucky part is that you have to constantly watch out for your belongings and making sure that you have everything with you and whether you have zipped up your bag!

It'll be a long wait before the next trip back home, probably in October. It's only going to be March now! There are still 7 more months to go! Sigh.....I don't know how I'm going to survive these few months..

My sister's wedding was really very enjoyable and entertaining, and of course not to forget, TIRING! I had fun, with my family, relatives and well, some of my sister's friends! Will upload some pictures when I get hold of them! Did I feel like getting married when I attended her wedding? The answer is..............................NAH! Hahah..nope, didn't have the strong urge to get married yet..

Not to mention that it was like a siblings gathering for my daddy lor..full force of all the siblings he has..haha..let me count..8 people in total!Means 8 families! So.....we ended up taking a family portrait! The last time we took one was in the 90s..so I guess the wedding was kind of emotional as this might be the last time all of us (the elders) are going to gather together..'cos we had people flying in from USA, different parts of Malaysia, Canada..just for the wedding (first wedding of the juniors)..And they really gave very big ang pows..

My new haircut became the topic of the day in the office today..received comments such as "what happened to your hair!", "your hair is really quite steamed leh", "nice hair!" (probably in a sarcastic manner =P), "why is your fringe so short!?", "挺好看的!".....Maybe it's a bad move to chop off my hair..haha..

These 3 weeks have been very rewarding..I met up with people I have wanted to meet; except Caro and Gina. I couldn't spend more time with people that I would have wished for more time with; partly 'cos the 3rd week was spent on my sister's wedding preparations. And of course, I knew you certainly didn't forget about me leaving! And it would be impractical to see me off 'cos it's a Monday morning my dear girl! You need to work! And sorry for not meeting up on Sunday 'cos my sister's wedding is on Sunday! And and..I didn't forget your birth date leh! If you look a little closer at the key chain that I've given to you! Daphne was given the privilege (haha!) to see me twice as compared to the rest of my friends..due to her persistence of dropping me random sms-es frequently to ask me to go running at night! I felt compelled to meet up! =P Nah, 'cos the smart me knew that she had something for me! And of course 'cos she's Daphne! =) So even though I slept really late the night before, I woke up at 9am on Friday morning and jogged rushed to West Mall for Burger King's breakfast! In my silly mismatched red socks (which was the only pair I could find) and interesting-looking haircut. I really love the present! Brought it over to China! :))

Having a "random" personality, I need to learn that not everyone works in this manner..there are some people who work like a book. They need to proceed on chapter by chapter. I work more like an exam paper. I can do Question 1(a) and jump to Question 2 and back to Question 1(b) after that. And not 'cos I get stuck at Question 1(b)..And so, when someone tells you he had prata for dinner tonight, you need to ask him whether it was delicious and where did he eat it at. You can't talk about other stuff and jump back to the prata topic. =P
